We currently have two blocks of Apartments.  A block of 12 apartments, is called “Ocean View Lifestyle Apartments” and a further 9 apartments adjoining the Rest Home, is called “Mountain View Serviced Apartments.” Both blocks of apartments are managed and serviced by the existing licensed Rest Home, which provides its residents with a level of independence, while at the same time offering care and security.

Thoughtfully and tastefully designed Apartments help make the transition from your own home more acceptable to residents. Residents are entitled to furnish their apartments with their personal belongings and to retain space for their own use, visiting families or the entertainment of friends.

Apartment sizes range from 40m2 -42m2

All Lifestyle and Serviced Apartments are provided with:

• Drapes
• Carpets
• Light fittings
• Small refrigerator 
• Built- in wardrobes with ample storage space
• Modern thermostat -controlled heating systems
• Kitchenettes (Some have cooking facilities - hob)
• An emergency Bell system in all Apartments to call the Rest Home (Mountain View) should residents need assistance.
• Security cameras and night patrols.

Lifestyle Apartments

“Ocean View Lifestyle Apartments” are located in the old tavern part of the one-time Bell Block Hotel.  This part has been completely redesigned and rebuilt into sunny roomy apartments.

“Ocean View” has access to a staff 24 hours per day if required. This ensures that residents have security, and that their needs and requirements are attended to.

Apartments have one bedroom, separate bathroom, combined lounge, dining and kitchenette and small courtyards attached.

Services offered to Lifestyle Apartments:

Our Lifestyle apartments are designed for those residents who are fully independent and want to maintain an independent lifestyle in a safe secure environment.

• Cleaning & Laundry services included in package
• Two meals included in package
• 24 hr nurse care supervision only
• Nurse care charged on a user pays basis for callouts and minor medical procedures

Full service package includes core service fee, power & gas, lunch & tea, cleaning, laundry, some recreation, 24 hr nurse care supervision only.  The current weekly fee is $284.00.

Morning and afternoon tea is available in the lounge at 10.00am and 3.00pm.  Meals for guests are available upon request.

Serviced Apartments

“Mountain View Apartments” are attached to the Rest Home. There, if residents wish, Maida Vale can provide full Rest Home care in the comfort of their own apartment. Alternatively, residents may choose another service package option appropriate to their needs.

Apartments have one bedroom, separate bathroom, combined lounge, dining and kitchenette. 

Services offered to Serviced Apartments:

• Cleaning & Laundry services included in package
• Three meals included in package
• 24 hr nurse care supervision only
• Nurse care charged on a user pays basis for callouts and minor medical procedures

Full service package includes core service fee, power & gas, breakfast, lunch & tea, cleaning, laundry, some recreation, 24 hr nurse care supervision only.  The current weekly fee is $354.00.

Full rest home care can be provided in Mountain View Apartments.  The weekly fee is dependant upon care needs as assessed by our Registered Nurse and General Manager and the fee ranges in price depending on care needs.
